Do I need an account?
Yes: you sign in with your email, Apple or Google, no password. Your account keeps your library and journal in the cloud so you don't lose anything when you change phones, and you can delete it from the app whenever you like.
My sign-in code isn't arriving
Check spam or promotions and give it a minute. Only the latest code you asked for works, and it expires after 15 minutes. If it still doesn't arrive, write to us.
Who can read my journal?
Nobody but you. Your journal is private, stored encrypted if you sync, and never used for advertising, content analytics or to train models.
I changed phones. How do I get my books back?
Install Capítula and sign in with the same email, Apple or Google you used before. If sync was on, everything comes back by itself.
How do I download my data?
From your account settings in the app you can export it as a file. You can also ask us for it by email.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. Without the app, from the “Delete account” page on this site.
Why are there links to stores?
So you can get the book wherever you prefer. If you buy through them, Capítula may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes: 14 to create an account. Under-18 accounts are private and have extra protections.
